Question
It does
allot for my sanity to get your stamp of approval on my plans.
I've read so much but I only have one crop of actual
experience. Even then,(
with the Cervantes book in one hand the whole time ) 24 plants
produced about
14 oz's in 12 wks. The plants had brown tips on the leaves and the
buds won't burn. Can you tell if I did anything wrong? Please refer
to the book mentioned above for the nutrient directions that I
followed.
Answer
I would
have to say that you burnt your plants with fertilizers. The
strength of nutrients in the book mentioned is way too strong unless
you have a full hydroponics system with good water circulation.
Leaves getting brown tips and buds that won't burn are the trade
mark of using too much nitrogen and not flushing it out before
harvesting.
Question
To
better facilitate cloning, I've
designed a plywood and Plexiglas
cloning chamber. Will
employing the chamber only increase my success rate or
will it decrease the rooting time also?
Answer
Building
a sealed chamber for growing clones will help to retain moisture and
humidity needed for clones to survive while they are rooting so I'd
have to say that it would help.
