Question
What
should the ppm be for a Milwaukee T73 tds tester with atc
range 0 to 1999?
Answer
The
factory settings should be at 1132ppm. I would turn it up only
between 200-250 ppm from the factory settings and keep an eye on the
ph levels of your water and replace it when necessary.
Question
Question
about the fresh air intake I know you can't have to much fresh air.
I have 2 intakes one is from the window AC unit and the other is the
central AC that I have coming into the room from the ceiling will
this be enough fresh air.
Answer
Even with lots of air intake and outflow you
still need to circulate the air inside the room. It cuts down on the
temperature and it helps with the humidity levels of the room to
keep the air flowing around in the room.
Question
During the transition period from veg. to
flower could you tell me what I should do at this point. I've been
reading about it but I don't understand when am I to start the
transition and when to change the strength of the nutrients and how
much strength and for how long am I to leave the nutrients at
that strength.
Answer
During the transition period (when you turn your
lights from 18 hrs. to 12 hrs.) you should stop using the grow
nutrients and flush the soil the plants are in by pouring lots of
water through them. I would do this in a tub because it makes it
easier to clean up. Then in about 4 or 5 days after the soil dries
up a bit from the drenching You switch your nutrients to budding
(flowering) nutrients. There are lots of different brands but I find
that using miracle bloom works O.K. Then after 4-5 weeks you stop
using the nutrients and just use water. One week before harvesting
your plants you should flush them again in order to get the best
flavour from your buds.
